I visited this place after being recommended by another foodie friend of mine.She described this place as a cafe straight out of Goa and she wasn't very far away.Its a nice small house converted into a beautiful cute restaurant and i really appreciated the detailing that went into the interiors.They have a 2 table small garden/courtyard kind of set up at the entrance and they also house a 3-4 small 2 seater table set up in the balcony overlooking the service road.Though the location was tempting,I chose the to sit inside as the warm winter sun was its peak at 2pm in the afternoon.

I was on a dieting spree and decided to waive off all temptations and stick to the veg fare.The person who took the order was well informed and friendly.I asked his recommendation on a mushroom dish ( don't recall the name) that was a puff filled with mushroom and cheese and he said that the qty would be just insufficient and asked me to go in for something with a rice option.Anyways I decided to go for the Haystack salad and have the mushroom dish if I have room for more.The salad was nice and the dressing matched up to it.However, i was left with no room for anything else.

I liked the presentation including the ones that were being served in the neighbouring tables.The service was excellent especially the beautifully designed feedback form that adds a personal touch with the steward mentioning the name of the dish you had the name of the staff who served you.On my way back I was floored by the looks of the pastries that were there in the ground floor and my will power was put to test.Not sure if I'm happy that I succeeded in this case.

As i only had the salad, would like to inform all of you that the friend of mine had the algerian fish and she loved it.She was so impressed by the presentation that she clicked a snap of the dish.Her husband compared the burger he had in line with some of the better ones you get in our city.Just hope they play up the consistency till I come out of my diet in another 2 weeks time !!
